"Patients worldwide need more women to be engaged in implant dentistry, and female dentists need the strength and encouragement that WIN provides."
Charlotte Stilwell, ITI President
We are a global network of dental professionals:
- Engaging women in implantology
- Empowering women to follow their ambitions and advance into leadership roles
Why?
Women account for an increasing percentage of dental school graduates, and only a minority become active in implant dentistry. If this trend continues, patient access to implant therapy and proper maintenance is at risk.
There is also a shortage of female role models in implant dentistry: surgeons, speakers, key opinion leaders and practice owners. We aim to engage women at all stages of their career in implant dentistry and inspire them to advance as leaders and role models for future generations.
By building a strong global community, supported by the biggest players in Implantology, we will make a change.
How?
Raising awareness of the situation and featuring female talents.
Networking opportunities at WIN events, dental congresses and online.
State-of-the-art implant dentistry via the WIN classroom, summaries of scientific evidence and skill-building workshops.
