Delayed Immediate Digital "Conversion" Prototypes

Are you struggling with chairside conversions, uncertain about how to seamlessly integrate photogrammetry data into your 3shape workflow, and maybe you aren't familiar and are wondering what photogrammetry even is? Or perhaps you're concerned about having to invest in another software package like exocad simply to use photogrammetry data? Join us as we unravel the secrets of 'Delayed Immediate Digital Conversion Prototypes in 3Shape.' In this session, we'll guide you through the step-by-step process of creating same or next-day provisional all-on-x prototypes for dental patients using a fully digital approach. We'll explore the workflow in 3Shape, whether you're using a Trios scanner or photogrammetry, and reveal a method to align everything accurately in 3Shape. You'll gain a solid grasp of the core concepts behind this digital shift and discover valuable tips and tricks for your daily work. We'll also address common challenges, including edentulous scanning accuracy, passivity, occlusion, and effective 3D object alignment. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your skills and understanding of this innovative method.

Full-Arch Implant Digital Impressions: Opportunities and Challenges

The integration of digital technologies into dental practice signifies an unstoppable progression, with digital dentistry playing a pivotal role. Among the various innovations, the intraoral scanner (IOS) has emerged as a central element in modern dental treatments. Despite initial skepticism and criticism from some professionals, digital impression technology has seen remarkable developments and is increasingly applied in daily practice. Particularly in the realm of implant impressions for single-tooth implants and short-span bridges, the IOS today offers significant advantages. A special challenge, which was until recently the scanning of the entire jaw, is now also being addressed. This lecture provides a detailed insight into the evolution and current state of digital impression methods, with a special focus on the intraoral scanner. Additionally, the latest innovations by Medentika that revolutionize this area are presented, and their significance for the future of dental practice is discussed.
