Prof. Tim Joda

Prof. Joda is Deputy Chair and Program Director of the Postgraduate Education at the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University Center for Dental Medicine Basel/ Switzerland. Prof. Joda is trained and Board Certified as Specialist in Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Periodontology, and has gained an MSc Degree in Prosthetic Dentistry & Biomaterials. He holds the Venia Legendi in Reconstructive Dentistry & Implant Therapy. Prof. Joda was a Visiting Professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine Boston/ USA in 2014 and has been appointed as Visiting Professor at the University of Siena/ Italy since 2016. His main clinical interests are fixed implant treatments and structuring treatment protocols. Prof. Joda initiated numerous projects in the field of clinical and translational research related to digital dental technologies and optimization of implant workflows. He received several peer-reviewed research grants as principal investigator as well as national and international research prizes.
