Roland Björn

Björn Roland, ZTM, is a renowned dental technician specializing in implant prosthetics, CAD/CAM technology, and ceramics. After earning his Master Craftsman certification in 2004, he trained at the Osaka Ceramic Training Center under Shigeo Kataoka. In 2006, he co-founded Virtual Implant Planning GbR and has been Managing Director of Dental Design Schnellbächer & Roland GmbH & Co. KG since 2009. A respected national and international speaker, he has authored numerous publications on implant prosthetics and ceramics. He is the President of FZT (Fachgesellschaft für Zahntechnik), a member of the Dental Excellence International Laboratory Network e.V., and has been affiliated with Goethe University Frankfurt since 2019.
