Ophir Fromovich

Dr. Fromovich is a leading global expert in dental implants and the inventor of several implant systems, including Straumann BLX, TLX system, Nobel-Biocare, Nobel active system, and Alpha-Bio System, which have significantly influenced the world of implantology for the past 35 years. Prof. Dr. Ophir Fromovich graduated in 1988 after completing his post-graduate studies in Orthodontics at the Medicine and Pharmacy Institute in Bucharest. He currently serves as a lecturing Professor at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest, Romania. Throughout his career, he has been honored with various scientific awards and certificates of excellence for his contributions to academic education and science. His impactful work has made a global impact in dental research, particularly in the fields of dental implants and prosthetics. His primary research areas encompass dental implants and abutment design, tissue regeneration, guided bone regeneration around dental implants, surface technology, and biomechanics.
