Leandro Soeiro Nunes

Dr. Leandro Soeiro Nunes MD, DMD Leandro Soeiro Nunes graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and became a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006 at ULBRA-RS. During his Master of Science studies (Bauru, São Paulo), he evaluated the behavior of biomaterials in sinus lift procedures and, during his doctoral studies (PUC, Rio Grande do Sul), he compared the biological behavior of several implant surfaces. In 2010 he moved to Bern (Switzerland) to join the ITI Scholarship program at the University of Bern with Prof. Daniel Buser. Nowadays he is an ITI Fellow, ITI Study Club Director in Porto Alegre and Professor of Implant Dentistry at Brazilian Dental Association. He also owns a private practice focused on oral surgery, implant therapies and bone augmentations, a Straumann Center of Dental Education (CoDE) since 2021.
