In this issue, the editor’s choice is the article published in the International Journal of Implant Dentistry “Round and flat zygomatic implants: effectiveness after a 3 year follow up non interventional study” authored by Carlos Aparicio.
The authors of this non-interventional study investigated variations in the type and frequency of late complications associated with Straumann Zygomatic implants over a follow-up period of at least three years. They report the effectiveness of ZAGA Flat and ZAGA Round implants demonstrated by minimal changes in the frequency of late complications and a 100% survival rate for both implants and prostheses.
